Going retro

Pushing the envelope talks about blocks in Java.

IMO C2 has the definitive guide to blocks in Java by Robert Di Falco. It's been there for a few years now.

It's good that the java world is coming to appreciate the facilties in other langauges. Like Darren says:

I sometimes wonder if language designers are doomed to reinvent things that some guys over the road already implemented a decade ago.

Make that decades ago. Lisp people have be watching this go on since the 1960s. That's got to be annoying.
