Sean caused a bit of a stir with RDFers recently. And while this article doesn't deal with RDF, the identity and naming critiria he's critical of is at at the heart of RDF naming, much more so that the relational model. The nearest thing to Malinke naming in RDF would be bNodes (or whatever they're called at the moment).

Couldn't agree more about namespaces. What were they thinking?
