A surprise .profile

I think it's going to take until 2010 until we really see the simplicity of Lisp come back to "commercial" programming systems. I'm seeing some of it now both inside and outside the big house, but there are a lot of people who need to move before we get there. - Don Box

Hang on a minute. I thought to myself, "Huh?". This is the guy that wrote that book and co-authored that spec. Ah - emacs. Cool.

Bingo. Also, it's hard to imagine any serious XML head not appreciating the Lisp/Scheme esthetic.

FWIW, I also spent a lot of time last year thinking in ML, which I think could drag all of those Java programmers half way to Lisp. This would get the C++ folks 3/4's of the way there :-)
