Well truth be told, there's probably only about 10 others, and I could get by with just the first 5 or 6 above. But that's Python for you - shorter all round.

It would be nice to see a top 10 for Ruby books, but sadly I don't think there already are 10 good books on Ruby out there. (Are there even 10 books?)

Hmm, did the order of that list change since it originally went up? Does it now more accurately portray your ranking of them?
Yes, it did change. When I first read this blog entry, "Dive Into Python" was number one. I remember it because that's the only Python book I've read (though I hope it won't be the last).
Have you ever read "Web Programming with Python"?
