The XMPP server ejabberd has shipped a 0.9.1 release.

XMPP? Push? In Erlang? Off the Web? Are they quite mad?

Stelios, it's a joke, with a point - follow the link through to Tim Bray's site and wonder about how many of those gigabytes would be served over XMPP. Btw, I think ejabberd is probably the best XMPP server available.
