Better living through television

Darragh: "RTE has moved into the 21st century, and has got RSS feeds."

The feeds are here. Maybe the Irish Times will follow suit.

That's old news.

Back at the start of February, Brian O'Neill asked if RTÉ had RSS feeds on Open. I mention that I'd been on to RTÉ about it a fair few times before, but got no response from them. Dermot Hanley posted up links to the feeds he knew of on the RTÉ website, so RTÉ have had news feeds since at least February 2nd, if not before.

In the same thread, Ireland.com feeds came up. They actually do have feeds as it turns out: http://www.ireland.com/feeds/rss/. However, Dermot mentioned that you need to be a subscriber to access the actual news stories themselves.

"That's old news."

Not to me.

Old news, but now everybody knows. ;-)

Hmmm... I think I ought to have posted a response to your earlier post when I found out. Slipped my mind.
