"Now indexes and searches up to 100,000 documents" - gee that'll get you a long way

I run one of these at work. The price aside, it's totally awesome: it's like having search behind your firewall.

I also played around with setting up an instance of Nutch (http://lucene.apache.org/nutch/), which with a little bit of tweaking and time would probably work just as well, all for much cheaper.

But, if you have the bucks -- or if your company will spring for it -- the out of the box expierience for the Google mini is great. People love it.
