Now you've got it, what's next - Routing Atom Entries through Google Talk Servers or maybe SPARQL/XMPP?

Yeah, welcome to using a REAL IM client. ;-]

I'd go for Atom first if I were you. Atom over XMPP was a nice short very easy prospective spec-let. Then again, I havent found many good RDF datastores worth keeping around yet.
