That's utter rubbish from Mike P and Gustavo.
If it works for thousands of people out there, but it doesn't work for them... clearly they should ask themselves whether they have the skills to even use Maven.
If you need "skills" to use Maven, then Maven clearly failed.

I find maven at best, problematic. I'm pretty sure it's not a skills issue. Really good ideas, but...
